The Paddle Against Cancer event is held annually to raise money to support the fight against Cancer. Photography was donated by John Willis of Willis eTech Ltd.
The JCI's began the day as many other event organizers do by setting up the indoor and outdoor areas. Most of the event activities were held on the beach; which included boat races, or around the grounds. Team photos were taken and then at the end of the day, a dinner provided by the Pantry was served. Award presentations followed.
Each year the JCI (Junior Chamber International) with support from various sponsers, organizes this event at Paddle Wheel Park in Vernon, BC.
